What GHK-Cu is

GHK-Cu is the tripeptide glycyl-L-histidyl-L-lysine bound to a copper(II) ion. The GHK sequence occurs naturally in human plasma, where its concentration declines with age. Its strong affinity for copper gives the reconstituted solution a characteristic blue tint — a useful visual identity cue.
